Fair Play is a dark bay son of Irish River out of Smart Play by Playfair. He had a race record of 31-15-6-6 and 2 grade I stakes wins.  He didn't show a lot of interest in racing until he was switched to steeplechasing and then he found something that challenged him.

Pete is easily bored and needs challenges to keep him focused. He matured late and many of his foals have the same tendency. He is more of a sprinter than distance horse as are a lot of the Irish River foals.

We are offering him again this year for a fee of $1,500. This is Pete's last year at stud.
