Lord Ruckus is a recent purchase from Hidden Valley Farm. Foaled in 1997, Ruckus is a black bay son of Twister out of Lady Megan. He is a 1/2 brother to Geisha Girl, who has also joined our broodmare band.  He excelled at the endurance distance and ended his career with a record of 20-5-5-3 and $663,750.

His first couple years on the track, the colt was afraid of everything including his shadow but a small pygmy goat named Houdini calmed him enough that he would concentrate on racing. Although he still can be a ditz on occasion, he has mellowed out and is easy to handle once he knows he can count on you to protect him from the boogyman.

Ruckus' first foals will be three year olds in 2007. We are currently offering his services at $500.

Shamrock Farm's Troublemaker was Lord Ruckus'  first winner as he broke his maiden in a five furlong race May 1,2006.  Kodiak, another son of Ruckus owned by Shamrock broke his maiden May 15, 2006. Raisin' Cain became Lord Ruckus' third foal to break his maiden on May 22,2006. He is owned by J & T Stables.
