Our grand old lady, Touch of Silver, dam of four stakes winners, was retired this last year when she failed to get in foal.  Her last foal was a gray colt named Silver Jungle by Lord of the Jungle.  Her daughters, Tarnished Silver and  Touch of Darq have taken her place in our broodmare band. She is still represented by Melodrama, Silver n' Gold and Highland Silver in the races this coming season.  Touch of Silver is by Silver Drift out of the stakes producing mare, Blue Alert.

Silent Tears is a chestnut daughter of Spanish Coin out of Cry of Silence. This mare has produced stakes winners, Field of Tears and Moment of Silence owned by Cricket Hill Farm. This dam line has produced quite a few stakes winners and we are proud to have this mare and her stakes winning daughter Field of Tears in our band.

Champion Lady of the Evening was the 1998 Steeplechase Distaff Endurance Champion. She set a speed record in 1998 at 11 furlongs. So far she has not produced her ability but we keep hoping to hit the right nitch.  This dark bay mare is by The Shadow out of Stolen Virtue.

Flowin' Free is a gray roan daughter of Mr. Kool out of our immortal mare, Flowing Sands. Flo is one of our first home grown stakes winners. She and her half sister, Freefall were some of the first to carry the gold and brown silks of Elkhorn Ranch into the winner's circle.

Another pair of gray homebreds are the half sisters, Smoky Image and Ice Princess. Both are out of Impressive Triumph. Smoky Image is by Holy Smoke and is the dam of stakes winner 2005 Distaff Endurance Grand Champion, Smoky Desire.  Ice Princess is by Mr. Kool and is the dam of stakes winner, Warrior's Princess.

Dancer's Fire and Bacardi Fire are chestnut daughters of Wildfire. Both showed a strong tendency in the steeplechase field. Bacardi Fire's daughter, Bacardi's Desire by Devil's Desire just won her first stakes race.

Tarnished Silver is a stakes winning daughter of High Spirits out of Touch of Silver thus bringing the distance and steeplechase lines of The Highlander into our herd.

Field of Tears is our multi stakes winning daughter of the immortal Flander's Field out of Silent Tears.

Celebrity is our Headliner daughter out of Sandpiper, dam of Dark Sands and Highland Piper. She too added many stakes wins to our collection.

Fantasia, Toy Symphony,  Fire Opal, Syncopation and Lady of the Night each bring in different bloodlines to off set our stallions.

 We are very please to announce the newest purchases from Hidden Valley Farm.  We have just receive, Angelic, Black Velvet,and Geisha Girl . We believe they will make welcome additions to our broodmare band.
