Silver Beacon was purchased as a yearling from Faraway Farms. This light gray son of CH Smoke Signals is out of the stakes winning Polished Silk by The Chieftain.  As a three year old we switched him to steeplechase and the rest was history. His first stakes win was at Melbourne and then he finished out 2002 with sweeping the championships to become the Grand Champion SC Endurance horse. Lightly raced, he ended his career with a record of 17-6-3-2 and $712,250.

Beanie ended his racing career about the time his grandsire retired from the breeding shed so he stepped up to take his place. Like Smokey, Beanie has an excellent temperment and is a dream to handle.
