Lewis, about Nov. I will post a list of the stallions that are available to lease. Terms are for 1 year. Fee is between $5-10K for the seson depending on the stallion. You may breed to your mares and outside mares if you wish and the breeding fees are yours. I am coming to the end of my first year in WR and saw this quote from Nigel. I would love to be able to lease a Stallion.

I have 15 broodmares currently plus a number of 4YO fillies which will probably need to be retired at the end of this year. I was lucky this year in that I was able to get all of my mares bred for free through Stud Farms that very kindly offer free breedings to Newbies plus a couple of free breedings won in the Melbourne Cup Handicap competition and the Fall Futurity.

Obviously, I won't be able to get free breedings for being a Newbie next year, so being able to lease a stallion would be a great benefit to me. Hence my interest in this quote. How can I find out which Stallions are available for lease?

We are or/oz, on voice for about 4hrs daily so we work it well. I have a full data base, we have the website, emails or texts at times too but the bulk is done on voice and flitting around between webrunners and stuff. Easy, lol. No worries.....I never knew that either, lol--->earlier, I actually thought I saw Deb's (Celina) post tied to a different thread, and it seemed somewhat out of context (I got real confused) and chalked it up to being tired (1 week and a day or so of the school year for me to go.....Yea!).  Good luck guys.....It'll all end up FINE, just takes a bit of time is all.

We are really enjoying it here and doing all the detective work involved with the horses, setting up our data bases, figuring who runs best where. Am so glad if we do run in the red a while we can still participate. This is such a great fantasy site, the work for you guys makes my mind boggle, lol.

Di, as I said in a later message, it's really more for your information as no one really keeps track of who's broke and who isn't. I know I ran in the red for awhile at the start of the year but it has begun to pick up some. The problem was that we aquired lots in the Auction, doing a search horse as well as relying on the stats given, sadly most were wayyyy out of date so it was buyer beware, lol. We came in just before the auction and didn't have the time to do searches through race cards etc, still finding our floundering feet. Ahhh, the joys of new stable ownerhood.
